Material we exclude
CSAM—child sexual abuse material—and material sexually exploiting minors are prohibited without exception. The prohibition covers files, requests and links used to distribute such material. Non-consensual intimate images, private personal records and targeted threats are also excluded.
Establish the right to use an image
Unauthorized copyrighted content must not be submitted. Keep evidence of authorship, permission or a valid license. Finding a picture in another archive does not establish a right to reproduce it.
Preserve context
Do not falsely attribute a work or use a filename, image or link to deceive someone. Malware, account misuse and attempts to evade restrictions are prohibited.
Identify a concern precisely
Identify the image URL and explain the issue. A rights complaint should also identify the protected work and who is entitled to act for its owner. Do not redistribute suspected illegal imagery as evidence. Authorities or the NCMEC CyberTipline
